Testing it against a Lexar (regular USB) even through a USB-C to USB converter gave me fantastic write speeds

I use this for working on files at school, and the speed has not yet been an issue for student use

Maximum speed is nice, but sustained speed over a long write is the real test of how fast a drive is

I can simply dump a file back and forth and the SanDisk re-writes the file in a neutral code at a good speed depending on file size and I can upload whatever I need to wherever

The reality is that the write speed on this product are extremely slower, the write speed is only about 10 - 15% of the read speed... and that's with the best connection and no data bottlenecks.
