    Sangean RCR-22 AM/FM Tuning Clock Radio (White)

    • Shouldn't a clock radio cave an amber display?
    • The display is not as easy to read at night without my glasses as the old way was.

    • I took a long while to choose a replacement for my Oregon Scientific Atomic Radio Alarm Clock (which I would rate mediocre) because I wanted to make sure I didn't repeat the same mistakes that I made buying that one (bad radio and BRIGHT display).The Sangean has so many features that I like, for instance, two alarms, excellent digital radio reception, great speaker, 7 programmable preset radio station buttons, & more
    • It doesn't claim to have one, but you can set the display to be maximally dim all the way up to maximally bright.

    • A nice feature they have added is that when the display is in the low level setting (adjustably dim for a dark room) anytime you change stations the display reverts to the bright display mode for about 10 seconds and then goes back to the dim display

    • As I mentioned, the display on the RCR-8wf would be perfect, but I have no use for internet radio, and at triple the price, can't justify the cost for just the display.

    • If you want a good sounding radio, which allows you to connect an MP3 player, adjustable display brightness (it will serve as a very good night lite as well), and very simple controls this product is for you.
