Also works with the Fender Squier Guitar for RockBand in Garageband (put it on software instrument) for it to work.

And once I got the settings right, the software worked with the cable connection.

The cable works great to connect our Kurzweil 152i to a Mac Book Pro (no software required) for use with Garage Band (for piano lessons).

Used some free software called Notation Player and grabbed a bunch of MIDIs to play on the piano.

Then I read where eMedia Piano For Dummies also supplied software to work with any MIDI keyboard; so all I needed was a compatible cable

Bought the E-MU cord which works perfectly and immediately threw this one in the trash.
