After this ridiculous assembly process, I really do appreciate the stands

Overall:--------Even though the packaging is tight, the assembly is easy and the materials appear to be of good quality I would not order stands of this design again for the reasons I stated above

the hardware is even separated into little plastic pouches on one piece of cardboard and labelled accordingly for easy assembly

Everything is engineered properly, and very clear assembly diagrams are provided

The key to proper assembly is making sure that the screws are lined up perfectly with the pre-drilled pilot holes

Upon assembly the pillars cracked when tightening the screws into 3 of the pillars with pre drilled holes.

I did have the luxury of buying 2 sets at the same time; one set was going down in the basement, in my exercise area, where no one would see the results of a sloppy assembly job other than myself, and down there I would not care as long as it worked

These foot the bill price was great construction is fine please be carefully when screwing in the top plate and the base make sure you take care to screw the screws in straight and don't over tighten as it may crack
