Loved the bookcase because shelf is adjustable and the color is warm and rich

The other had a missing shelf

Luckily mine only had a minor scratch on the top shelf, but it was on the underside that is barely visible

Arrived with a small surface crack in the top shelf.

Both bookcases had cracks in the top shelf.

The screws that goes into the top shelf to the front of both sides were too long and came right through to the top of the shelf.

The only reason i did not give 5 stars is that the middle shelf does not sit flush with sides ( minor cosmetic issue) because it is an adjustable shelf

The middle shelf did sag a bit once loaded (I put way more on it than rated) but flipping it over solved the problem, I also added a small brace in the center for additional support, it has held up fine like that

It's a really sturdy shelf and it's fairly low to the ground, which is what we were looking for since she pulls herself up using anything she can reach

It's perfect for what I was looking for and the bottom shelf is deep enough for three ring binders.
