I am returning this because I ordered the Scosche vent clip to replace it - that one works like a charm!

My only concern is I wish the vent clip was longer

The holder I had previously bought had been of the vent clip variety

When it's in use it's great, but the vent clip pulls out with the phone frequently in my 2016 Focus

It's larger than I wanted and mounts the phone too high, so I may try the vent clip next as a compromise.

I like that it has a clip to keep the charging cord close by.

I couldn't find a good spot on the RX450H dash/console/windshield for any mount to work well, and I didn't want to block any vents using vent clipped mounts either.

The clip stays in the car vent well and hasn't jumped out at us yet.

I have one of these in every vehicle I own, they make everything you do in your car with your phone easier with no clunky clips or holders

I don't really use this as much as my Scosche vent clip.

Small base that is attached to my car is better than a vent clip

The adhesive base is better than a suction cup or vent clip because they stay in place.

Neat, easy to install and the magnetic mount means that it can be docked and removed with one hand (no funny clips or holders).

If I did it all over again I would get the window mount instead of the vent clip.

Occasionally I will grab my phone from the mount on the vent clip and the whole base comes with my phone

My previous mounts were vent clips and we're either bulky or not as easy to use on a daily basis.

The only qualm is I bought the vent clip and sometimes when removing your phone, the magnet is strong enough that the whole mount comes off the vent

An added benefit is the A/C or the air from the vent keeps the phone cool when you are using GPS app

Much better than the previous a/c vent type mounts I've used in the past.
