worked one time, after that it would never heat up

I don’t like the extra time to heat it up, but the laminator at self seems very nice, and every feature works great.

Then, the second time I tried to use it, smoke just poured from it within minutes of being turned on

It was great when it worked the few times we used it but recently jammed with a pouch in it and even after clearing jam will not switch on - looks dead!!!

I've recommended this laminator to my friends and co-workers many times.

Every time she uses it my wife says, "Have I told you enough how much I love this laminator!?!

If I am to believe what I read, the five minute ready time is quite good, and easy enough to tolerate if you're a multi-tasker.

Every time I've used it jams at least three times unless I stand right there and hold each page as it comes out.

My husband uses it for his 5th grade class but 9-year old is infatuated with it and has used it many times as well

In comparison to the older laminator that this one has replaced for me, this makes the laminating process dramatically easier less frustrating, & less time consuming

Warm up time is about 5 minutes

Every time I use it there is a burning plastic smell that's a bit noxious.

Some times I have to rerun it because it didn't completely seal due to it not being hot enough.

I am a first grade teacher and I have wasted valuable time by having to turn on the machine over and over to finish just one piece of paper.

There is a 5 to 7 minute warm up time and it will shut off automatically after a period of time if it isn't being used

The first one I bought didn't work and 3M was so helpful to quickly get a replacement to me
