I immediately noticed a nice speed increase (though some of that is due to Windows being fresh)
-
Bar moving fast = low ping speed.
-
I use it for backup, so cool and quiet is better than maximum speed
-
I think that you should save up for that if you want a good speed and can't afford the money for a SSD I would get this or get the 10K
-
, read speed is very fast, and the available 4 TB of space is very welcome
-
Excellent speeds (I have 3 of these in a raid5 in my nas), huge capacity, and so far rock solid reliability.
-
Through much research I have discovered that these drives have advanced power management that will cause the head to park itself and slow down the speed of the hard drive to save energy
-
Excellent speed and capacity for the price
-
The slowest speed of this this drive around 167MB/s is the fastest speed for the older 4TB as you can see
-
It is being used a a backup boot drive, so speed is not that important for it's application.

Cool, quiet, good transfer speeds for a 5900 rpm drive
-
I also talked to a tech at a retail store and he didn't believe a hard drive would be to blame for slow internet speed either
-
speed is fine and it hold a metric crap-ton of data.
-
I would wholeheartedly recommend these hard drives to anyone looking for tons of reliable storage and reasonable speed.
-
It seems to have slow reading speeds to some extent
-
this is probably the fastest mechanical drive I've used in a long time!200MB/s which is way faster than the typical 120MB/s and even faster
