1/2013 - My wife recently purchased the Samsung Note 2 and the Smart Dock and now we only use this as a wired USB hard drive.

While the setup of a Linux box with WiFi in the guise of a wireless hard drive is intriguing, it appears to have been put on the market before development was really completed

I successfully loaded my entire iTunes library on to the hard drive

I have numerous portable and desk hard drives, all of them Seagate.

my problem did get escalated and Seagate did a lot to help includingaccepting photos instead of returnreplacing it with two simpler cheaper drives that i hope will have better cables.still would not buy the wireless drive.jury still out on the replacements.suggest seagate give better, easier to access online support for users before the equipment fails.up from one to three stars

You can not move things around on the harddrive - imagine you want to re-organize some folders on the hard drive from your ipad, well, you can't
