It's great for use as a portable storage device

you need to carry around micro SD cards (but better than limited storage on iDevices).

Since I use it with a tablet that easily allows me to connect to such a device by wifi, this is the perfect storage tool.

The Seagate Plus works beautifully by creating a wireless "hotspot" and then transmitting the data directly to my I Pad without having to use the limited existing storage.

I have loaded 100+ movies and no longer have to concern myself with the amount of available storage left on my iPad

This one is a big disappointment as I bought this Seagate wifi device and was excited about the possibilities of portable wireless storage for videos and connect via wifi to my Ipad.

Especially when phones and tablets have surprisingly limited storage

Normally I like to connect external hard drives directly to get the fastest speed possible, but this device particularly intrigued me for use with my Kindle Fire, which doesn't have the ports needed to connect an external device, and has very limited storage space

Actual storage available on this device is 931MB.The only problem i found is the conflict between the Seagate wireless range and the 3G network, but i'm still searching for a solution.

I bought this because I wanted to be able to stream movies to 3 different devices that don't have much available storage while on a long airplane flight.

Bottom line the unit is great for expanding the sever storage limitation of the IProduct family.

This is a compact light-weight external storage device (i.e. hard drive) for use with PC's or tablet devices

I use the device as additional storage for my Ipad and it works wonderfully.

So let's see, Seagate is selling this wireless drive as portable storage and the videos they offer up on there site are in a format ( flash) that is not viewable to atleast half there audience

As a frequent traveler who loves her media, I'm loving the ease, accessibility and incredible storage capacity of this Seagate Wireless Plus

And the drive's internal battery lasts for about 10 hours, giving you a portable storage solution useful for about a day's worth of travel

Overall very good wireless storage hub for all the devices

Not only do you have this great storage capacity in a compact, lightweight, and rather handsome device, but its user friendly interface with your computer (either drop-and-drag or use USB connection to transport computer-stired files to the Seagate) makes it easy to move media from its "permanent location to a mobile one

Great wireless storage device

I bought this device excited about the possibilities of portable storage for pictures and some videos.

The Seagate drive is 1 terabyte which for the “non-technicals” is 32/16/8 times greater storage capacity than SD’s (respectively).

I had planned to use it for Time Machine as well as other document storage.

Also it is a great storage device

Means, obsolete - as you can't charge it anymore

it worked just as advertised and just as I had expected it to work

It works as it is claimed

The drive itself is relatively small and works as it should.

Followed the instructions at support site, tried SSID with and without pwd, tried installed app as well as through the browser and also did not work

This confused me because as soon as it disconnected

When 3G or 4G is good just relay the Seagate Wireless Disk through the hotspot on the phone and you have a seamless connection to the Internet.
