For overall rating, I would give it a 4 star rating as it does work as described but would recommend the manufacturer maybe provide some info regarding the device working as expected only if the phone doesn't have a protective case on it.

I hate riding with my phone in my pocket, and this is a great solution.

This is a solid mount for holding my phone while I ride, allows for easy positioning so I can see maps if necessary

If I hit a big bump it sometimes knocks the holder out of a good position for me to see it, but I just have to re-angle it, and I can see it fine

The ball swivel screw holds the position tight as well

Phones with protective covers don't seem to stay on as well and will fall out

and you will have to remove the cover for it to work properly

My phone fell and my screen was completely broken.

As soon as I went over the slightest bump, the phone fell and shattered.
