    Selmer 981 Song Flute, Black

    • And it does have a nice tone, just not what I expected.
    • The Flutophone has a wider, but more narrow mouthpiece by a millimeter or two, resulting in slightly less airflow, but a more defined tone (like a recorder, bright, clear tone), while the Songflute has a higher airflow, resulting in more wind noises and more body, a bit more sounding like an occarina
    • The song flute has raised holes which are much easier to cover, and the tone is more pleasant and requires less breath control, allowing for more contrast in volume while in tune
    • Probably worth ten bux great tone quality and fun
    • Tone is right, and so is the price.
    • Either one are great flutes to learn on, but the cheaper price, and the correct tone (compared to the error on the flutophone's D), make this my favorite
