Sennheiser GAME ZERO Special Edition Gaming Headset

    • Fits over the ears well.
    • Fortunately I'm past my days when I want to blow my ears out.
    • If you have a fully size manly head and can turn the heat down a little so your ears don't overhead and work in a busier home or office, go with the GAME ZEROs
    • i hate it when headsets are partially on your ears and the soreness of the pressure makes the experience a dread to wear them, they fit totally over your ears, whether you have dumbo ears or not, these things do not trap tender ear lobes.
    • My husband LOVES them because this is the only headset to ever not hurt his ears or give him a headache.
    • The ear pads are sufficiently big to cover my ears fully, extremely soft and the memory foam is absolutely amazing
    • They also clear my ears completely and conform to my head
    • They're not good for much more than keeping your ears nice and toasty.
    • and I think the Logitech g430 has a better seal around your ears to help cut out background noise
    • If you have large ears these are great because your ears won't hit the inside of the speaker like with some smaller headphones
    • The rotary volume knob on the right ear provides a quick adjust without much effort
    • It's missing the 3-button control, but it does have a volume dial on the right ear cup and also the flip up mic mute
    • Long gaming sessions do not hurt the ears whatsoever
    • When they arrived I was pleased to find they are comfortable, at first, but with 10 minutes of wearing them, my ears got hot and started to sweat
    • The sound stage is so shallow - the highs are maxed out and will hurt your ears if turned up - the bass is all but turned off
    • * Bought on May 12th 2014, it is now November 18th 2015, the ear muffs have permanently compressed on places and the right ear muff has just split open about 2 inches along the seam
    • but alas the right ear cup sprung a leak
    • The volume control are on the right ear phone instead of on the wire, the volume/mic control on the wire was the point of failure for my last head phones
    • As an example, from just _basic_ use babying this headset, due to it's high cost, my right ear cup is no longer attached to my headset
    • the mic mutes when its lifted up and you can adjust volume with the slider on the right ear cup
    • There is no inline volume and mic control as they are integrated into the left and right ear cup
    • My ears get a little warm in the GZs, but I just turn down the heat 2 degrees and I'm fine.
    • You can literally wear these for hours, but the only real con is that your ears may get a bit warm due to the ear cup material, but this is by no means a deal breaker
    • Only drawback has been that my ears get hot after a while
    • maybe a bit more so since these aren't as hot as velvet ear-pads.
    • My ears get warm, not hot.
    • Comfortable soft ear cups.
    • Received my headset today, plugged it in and only received sound from the right ear that was muffled and quiet
    • Finally after getting tired of using my cheap headphones that hurt my ears every time I used them, I decided I would buy a really nice pair that I can afford (I spent about $200).When they arrived I was upset with the first pair because it was defective and did not work
    • the Exposed padding tickles my ear kinda driving me nuts
    • Nice improvements in G4ME series from the PC350's: - better high frequency response - volume control on the right ear, much nicer than the previous inline volume control - smooth leatherette ear pads versus the more glossy pads which tend to break up and peel over time - accessories included (case, plug adapters)Drawbacks: - low frequency response slightly muted... may have to employ the same mod some did for PC350's by wadding the insides to pump up the bass - high price for little design change over many yearsBottom line:When you get into the higher tiers of Sennheiser's consumer product lines you'll rarely be upset by your decision
    • The volume dial on the right ear cup, when turned, causes sound to cut in and out
    • The closed design does bring some sweaty ears but that is just part of the deal, nothing out of normal.
    • (With 35mm drivers, the bass on the Game Zero is not as loud as with my Beyerdynamic DT990s which have 45mm drivers.
    • The sound quality is good and the mike works as it should.
    • The base definition seems just as good as with the DT990s.)
