Sennheiser HD 202 Dynamic Headphones (Old Version)

    • -Closed back makes for a small sound stage (not ideal for gaming or music)-The pads shed their coating over time if you sweat-Non-replaceable cord, and they're likely to short out if you plug/unplug
    • You know how easily accidents can happen, how easily it can only take one time to rip a cord in half, or simply have the cords short out because of too much usage
    • Very Inexpensive, Descent Sound, Long cord with smart cord management
    • Cord is nice and long.
    • Comes with cord holder and ample cord.
    • Cord is a 'Y' type (split with leads to each ear rather than a single left-ear lead).Wow.
    • I use these for both my PC and Ipod, and the long cord is awesome as my PC is about 4 feet above my head to the right
    • As a bonus they come with a handy cord
    • The cord is plenty long enough, almost too long even with the wind-up belt clip, and has a 3.5mm end and comes with a 1/4 inch adapter
    • I actually purchased this for my son so he would be the one to critique it...however, he did say that it was everything he was looking for however, the cord was exceptionally long making the headphones hard to maneuver.
    • I've been very happy -- they even stand up to me tossing them sometimes, or wheeling too far and ripping the cord out of the ipod
    • The sound is okay, but the constantly tangling cord and the noise leakage really ruins these for me.
    • Also, the cord is wicked long.
    • Really superb sound quality all around highs and lows, nice bass, and the long cord is useful
    • Second, the long cord, while good for flexibility, is inconvenient to deal with when you just want to walk around with your player in your pocket - too much cord to simply stick in your pocket comfortably and the belt clip storage wrap is a non starter with me - too plastic and pocket protector reminiscent
    • The long cord is great to be able to put the cord behind me and out of the way for drumming.
    • They sound great, cut out ambient noise and the cord is long enough to walk around the block!
    • My only gripes with these headphones are: I dont like the ginormous cord they give you, and they get really warm on your head after awhile.
    • However, not even a month after buying these headphones, the cord leading to the right earcup went dead
    • BTW, despite the description not mentioning a 1/4" adapter being included, Sennheiser wisely include one as well as a belt clip to take up the slack on the generous cord
    • I can shake the cord or move my head or just be doing something and not even thinking about it, and suddenly the sound will just pop back in.
    • The extra long cord comes in handy and they are very comfortable to wear
    • one of the best sounding headphones you can buy for the money great sound.......... they are made well cord is almost too long only down fall

    • Unfortunately, 8 months in, I did break these too, the cord ripped where it meets the earcup, killing one of them, but it was due to my own carelessness and not the product itself
    • not only was the cord not durable the entire plastic frame is delicate and must be handled with carethe removable ear pieces are actually a con because they take away from the durability and comfortdistortion was noticeable when the equalizer was altered or when they were turned up high
    • The price is quite affordable, and the cord is plenty long enough to plug into a receiver and lounge on the couch while watching a Blu-ray or listening to your favorite album
    • They are cheap, comfortable, long cord and they sound great
    • Additionally, the cord from ear to jack is crazy long
    • Pros: - Great price - good sound quality - long cord - lightweight - sound doesn't leak - muffles outside sound well for not being noise cancellingCons: - if you have a large head or wear glasses, these seem to pinch the ears potentially creating a headache (found that stretching them out helps) - didn't come with the "convenient cord take-up" as mentioned in the description (maybe just me?
    • The cord is long enough that you probably won't need the extension cord recommended by Amazon with your purchase.
    • A cord wrap is included to tidy up the excess cord if desired, more trouble than its worth to me.
    • They have VERY comfortable ear pads, and an extra-super long cord.
    • Great value, 10ft cord, Good sound
    • Also the long cord and the device to wrap the cord around is great giving me the flexibility to either hooking them to my cell phone/mp3 player or to a computer farther away
    • I kept good care of them too, never twisting the cord, special case for them and everything
    • The cord loses connectivity around the connection between the headpiece and the cord.
    • Second, the long cord, while some find nice, is pretty obtrusive and not great for a mobile guy like me
    • I gave this 3 stars because the cord while more than long enough is very thin and breaks where it connects to the ear

    • They sound great on all settings and the 10 ft' cord makes them perfect so I can stand back and work the pedals

    • I really appreciate the cord reel; the extra cord is there if I need it but neatly wrapped out of the way when I don't
    • The cord wrapping object that comes with these headphones is useful and prevents excess cord having to hang around, just begging to be yanked on and ripped out.
    • I do use the cord reel/clip to shorten the cord and I would prefer something a little shorter, but as someone else pointed out for 1/18 of the price of the 650s, this is an incredible buy!Note that the set has a 1/8 inch stereo plug but comes with an adaptor 1/8 to 1/4 inch plug.

    • Hi fidelity, good bass, and very long cord (which some might consider excessive)
    • Still, it's better than having all that cord getting crushed under the wheels of your chair, and I've wished for a device like that for my other headphones

    • My hard drive is a bit far away from my screen and I wanted some headphones with a cord long enough to use while working on my computer.
    • Amazing bass, very long cord, surround the ear cups could be a little bit bigger.
    • The beltclip works okay, but it's a little bulky (3" long by 1.5" tall by 3/4" deep) for my taste (I just twist-tie the cord up that I don't need).
    • the cord is long, its easy to use and the sound quality is fantastic
    • good long cord.
    • I needed a set that 1) blocked out sound (treadmills are noisy!); 2) had excellent sound quality; 3) had a nice long cord (most ear bud sets, I've found, are too short and rip out accidentally from my unfocused movement); and 4) was durable
