Sennheiser HD 202 Dynamic Headphones (Old Version)

    • I still think they might break if I put them in my backpack with my numerous textbooks, because the plastic is cheaper, but it seems like it'll last a while.
    • Clear, but a little plastic, to go with the look of these units
    • I wish more manufacturers of electronics would realize that consumers do not want to blindly cut through dense, resistant plastic, possibly cutting wires or other niceties.
    • I have smaller than normal ears, but the inside part (the speaker) is hard plastic and presses against the outside of my ear and after about an hour it is quite painful.
    • Either built in via an slide in/out part or just more flexible plastic
    • Pros: Sound, price, comfort, look, long cord, belt clip attachmentCons: Still cheap plastic (I mean for the price it's decent), long cord sometimes a bit of a pain to wind and unwind on attachment.
    • It looked like it had cheap plastic, and would break if bent.
    • The band is a lightweight hard plastic, so it bends

    • It looked like it had cheap plastic, and would break if bent.
    • While the plastic doesn't seem too nice, it seems relatively sturdy enough (it's similar the type of plastic you'd see on the interior of airplanes or cars) and the cushion on the top doesnt feel like it'd have a long life, the most important part for
    • I've used other cheap headphones with no problems; I think it's the thick hard plastic they used in the head band that prevents it from easily bending to the shape of a person's head.
    • It has a nice, long cord (probably too long if you're just going to listen to your iPod or computer), but also comes with a nice plastic thingy with a belt clip to wrap the excess cord around.
    • The cheap plastic connectors wear out so you speaker position won't stay in place if you use very much
    • The are made of good quality plastic and pleather, and seem to be relatively durable, provided you don't treat them too badly
    • They finally broke when I was trying to do an adjustment to them and the cheap plastic defied any
    • I thought that repeated instances would warp the plastic, but after a year, it seems perfectly fine
    • Have no complaints about the sounds quality, etc, but the rigid plastic on the top that connects the headphones makes for quite the uncomfort
    • Sound is pretty good and if you have a small head you can ignore the cheap plastic construction.
    • The thing is, I think, is that the foam around ear speaker (shaped like a doughnut) is too soft and after awhile plastic that's inside begin to push on my ear
    • It is made out of cheap plastic and the belt clip will break quickly.

    • I little thumpy on bass, highs lacking- Retains heat on a hot dayConclusion:I find these work very well at work for listening to training material, as well as my musical selections.
    • Using the Windows Media Player equalizer, I can make them sound nearly as good as the Sony MDR 7506
    • I am using it with my iPod and the sound is really good, it may not be as good as in a $200 pair of headphones but it is still quite pleasant to be in a bubble when you are listening to your music

    • The ear cups are too small and the fit is tight, so your ears start hurting as they are being mashed against your head.
    • The only thing that annoys me (as with the 201s) is the very long cord
    • They have been worn for extended periods of time listening to music as well as
    • The ear cups are also kind of small so these barely qualify as "over the ear" headphones
    • All in all I would recommend these headphones as they sound great and they're very affordable for some headphones of this quality.
    • I'm not positive as to the sound quality at higher sound levels, as I don't tend to listen to music that loud, but at the level I had it(about 50% volume), the quality was perfect
