The fact that the audio cable is replaceable in the event it ever gets damaged was a real plus for me because its bound the get damaged at some point even though the cable itself is of great quality

Having a coiled cable is good because it's able to expand when you need and contract when you're right next to the plug; this cable might be an issue for some, since the cable IS HEAVIER than most straight cables

I always liked the sound and isolation of the 280, but disliked the heavy, coiled cable and extreme tightness on my head

I found them extremely uncomfortable and had to return for that reason...even as great as they sounded just could not get past the pressure they put on my head and ears..and as a point of reference I have a pretty normal head...or at least I think I do

To make things worse the earpads squeak as you move your head around

I have tested them on master material and raw, comparing as I said to the other headphones as well as compared them with ADAM A7X monitors and Dynaudio BM6a monitors
