    Sennheiser HD 380 PRO Headphones

    • Durable case for storing
    • I like the folding feature and the case is quite nice too
    • However their design allow them to be folded flat and they come with a decent semi-rigid zippered case so you can stow them in a drawer and out of sight of envious eyes when you finish work and go home
    • And the case is great!
    • Awesome soft case to protect them
    • The swivel design allows the headphones to fold up and to be stored in the compact case that is included with them
    • They sound great, basically brand new, nice case, cords
    • I love the case and the way it folds up and has a detachable cord along with a 3.5mm jack adapter, this and the fact that you can actually lay your head down comfortably, i.e in bed/taking a nap, was a huge plus for me
    • Comes with a handy (but large) carrying case.
    • They come with a 1/4"-1/8" adapter, and the case is really really nice to protect them
    • They come with a cool carrying case (with a carrying handle), and fit perfectly in it.
    • The case is nice and I am willing to tolerate the larger space for improved quality
    • Case is bulky
    • They are also much more portable than the Bose, coming with an awesome hard shell case, in which the headphones fold flat and, with the cord, fit very nicely and are well protected for travel.
    • They also came with a nice carrying case
    • Great for travel (especially with the fold-flat design and the semi-hard case)
    • The cord, adapter & case were also like new.
    • The case is great.
    • Nice case, heavy cable, ok sound, not very clear base, leaking too much sound, but that's not all
    • The hard case is very nice for protecting the headphones
    • The case is excellent.
    • The case is actually useful and adds value in my opinion
    • Very comfortable headphones, I love the included travel case and higher quality headphone cable.
    • The HD 380s are "Keepers" Love the case too!
    • they collapse easily and have a nice case to put them
    • If you like the nice, cheap case that comes with it, that could be the hook for you to want to buy this at $99
    • Folding them up feels sturdy and the included case makes them very easy to transport
    • The case in comes in is a very nice hard case that sure as hell beat the leather drawbag I saw most other headphones in this price range come with (it doesn't fit the coiled cable particularly well inside, but I was able to make it work)
    • The headphones come in a nice zippered case that offered protection as well
    • The headphones come with a pretty serviceable, semi-rigid case which would be more useful if you didn't have to fold the headphones up into an origami puzzle to get them in there.
    • the included case is very nice
    • The headphones are not insubstantial, and the case is bulky as can be
    • I am certainly not convinced that these are poor headphones for listening to classical music - I listen to classical on these phones all the time, although I may not be as discerning of musical tastes or acute of hearing as some of our audiophile companions on here (I am a live sound engineer, after all!).In summary, the isolation, the clarity at full range and volume, the portability (cool case!) and the replaceability of parts makes perfect sense for a touring engineer or resident A1 engineer such as myself that is in the business of reproducing actual live music with real musicians in the room
    • If you like the nice, cheap case that comes with it, that could be the hook for you to want to buy this at $99
    • Like that they come with a compact case.
    • The case in comes in is a very nice hard case that sure as hell beat the leather drawbag I saw most other headphones in this price range come with (it doesn't fit the coiled cable particularly well inside, but I was able to make it work)
    • All in all this cans are very sturdy - AND VERY LIGHT - and this again compare to any of the cans i mentioned above - again if it would not be for strong clamping power i would keep them as spare headphones for my Shure 1540 - also Senheiser HD 380 Pro is good as portable - i like the cord and that this cans can be folded and very nice travel case
    • Nice case included too
    • The hard case is very nice for protecting the headphones
    • This came with a nice case and quarter-inch adapter
    • They are also much more portable than the Bose, coming with an awesome hard shell case, in which the headphones fold flat and, with the cord, fit very nicely and are well protected for travel.
    • Nice case, heavy cable, ok sound, not very clear base, leaking too much sound, but that's not all
    • Comes with a nice travel case.
    • Yes, I know they are closed backed phones, but, these have the absolute worst case scenario closed effect
    • The headphones sound amazing, are well constructed, and come with a very nice carrying case
    • That they fold up and come with a protective case is an added bonus, and makes them great for travel
    • The cord is really long, and it's coiled, which makes it somewhat difficult to get into the zip up case that is provided
    • and they seemed to be VERY well made with a nice case
    • However their design allow them to be folded flat and they come with a decent semi-rigid zippered case so you can stow them in a drawer and out of sight of envious eyes when you finish work and go home
    • Regardless, the case they come with is nice and flat, and the cable feels extremely durable (though the lack of a detaching cable is a bummer)Criticisms about form-factor aside, I absolutely couldn't stand to keep using these
    • Came in really nice zipper case that is great for organizing or travel.
    • And they are very comfortable to wear; I use them without removal for 5 or 6 hours at a time with no comfort issues (just a bad case of 'can hair' :-).The sound is fantastic -- though if you are using these with a portable player or computer, then I highly recommend using a headphone amp to drive them instead of the device's headphone jack
    • Nice construction & case
    • It also folds up much better and comes with a nice case
    • Add to fact that they fold up into a handy carrying case makes them the best headphone purchase I've ever made & I have had a LOT of headphones in my day
    • Pros:- the sound quality is just incredible.- headband is a good size - very flexible and adjustable.- the pillows around the cups feel just like pillows.- you can wear these all day with no problem.- included hard case is nice.- cups fold flat keeping the case reasonably small.- cord is a good length
    • Well, I settled on this pair, based on lots of factors (price, details, detachable cord, case, comfort, sound, replaceable parts, etc).
    • Great case, fits the Cans, cord, a gold plated up adapter to take it from 1/8" to 1.4" input, and a very nice compact, folding design that makes them almost as portable as earbuds
    • I do professional recording of classical musicians and am always on the lookout for new headphones to use "on-location" The "fold-flat" design of the HD380 pro phones was appealing as was the included hard case and the claimed high isolation level
    • Also comes with a nice travel case.
    • I like the case although it takes a little work to fit the coil cord inside
    • The included case and folding options and relatively low impedance / "amp optional" make these easy to travel with - they block out noise reasonably well just being on, and very well when playing audio
    • Noteworthy points: the HD 380s fold to a small flat form factor and come with a great case
    • It is a somewhat hard case, but at the same time somewhat soft - difficult to explain.
    • They have a good sturdy design, and they fold up to fit in the great case that comes with them.
    • Good protective case
    • but I feel as though it's an accurate reproduction sound yet not as good as for example a beyerdynamic custom one pro which is twice the
    • I haven't tested against my Yeti mic to see, but I presume this will minimise any leakage outwards, just as well as it isolates you from sounds coming inwards
    • I found them extremely uncomfortable and had to return for that reason...even as great as they sounded just could not get past the pressure they put on my head and ears..and as a point of reference I have a pretty normal head...or at least I think I do
    • To make things worse the earpads squeak as you move your head around
    • I have tested them on master material and raw, comparing as I said to the other headphones as well as compared them with ADAM A7X monitors and Dynaudio BM6a monitors
    • I wish Sennheiser’s would fix that issue
