These are also a bit tight, unlike the 558's which have a perfect fit -- like wearing two pillows on your head that happen to sound amazing

The tight fit isn’t uncomfortable at all to me, and I have a large head, but I think that helps with the isolation

Finally, even though these headphones fit tightly over the ears, there is minimal noise isolation.

I got that and a great fit too.

I really wish there was a straight 3 or 4 foot cable as a choice that had a perfect fit

You can get a 2.5mm male to 3.5 mm male cables to make your own, it just wont be a perfect fit on the headphone end due to the shape of the connector

, I will admit, the folding mechanism was a little strange to me at first with its flat fold and when I opened them up for the first time, I wondered how I would get them on my head, because they don't come together like most other headphones do (they'll get kinda close to each other, but don't try and force them together), but they actually work quite nicely and have a good fit on my noggin

All in all this cans are very sturdy - AND VERY LIGHT - and this again compare to any of the cans i mentioned above - again if it would not be for strong clamping power i would keep them as spare headphones for my Shure 1540 - also Senheiser HD 380 Pro is good as portable - i like the cord and that this cans can be folded and very nice travel case
