    Sennheiser HD 380 PRO Headphones

    • Excellent isolation
    • In other words, I wouldn't get these headphones if you're looking for SUPERB noise isolation

    • The isolation is very good - even without music playing, ambience noise is cut by quite a bit - I wouldn't be able to understand a person talking to me with them on
    • They have great sound isolation and are extremely comfortable to wear for long periods of time
    • (less clarity and timbre, bad soundstage... but good isolation and quite comfortable)Comfort: Both are very comfortable, but I'm sure that A900 is the most comfortable phone (guess all ATH 3D wing system designed headphones)
    • sound isolation is almost perfect and the sound signature is somewhat reminds me
    • Good noise isolation and decent outside noise cancelation, meaning you can use these while traveling
    • Sound isolation is really good but hasn't come close to a real noise cancellation headphone.
    • Very good sound isolation, good size, good grip

    • Isolation/leakage: hd380s is better at both
    • Excellent mechanical noise isolation.
    • With a closed-back take on the classic sennheiser sound signature, the generally warm tone gains some strong low end and provides excellent noise isolation.
    • They don't have active noise cancelling but rely on good old fashioned closed design and passive isolation

    • The isolation and sound quality are excellent, but they have a significant design and/or build-quality issue

    • Surprisingly, I found that the 280 had a slightly better ability to block the sound of an air cleaner fan in my listening room, otherwise, both models provide good isolation for you and outsiders

    • I will say they have excellent sound isolation without a vice like grip
    • All in all this cans are very sturdy - AND VERY LIGHT - and this again compare to any of the cans i mentioned above - again if it would not be for strong clamping power i would keep them as spare headphones for my Shure 1540 - also Senheiser HD 380 Pro is good as portable - i like the cord and that this cans can be folded and very nice travel case
    • I wish Sennheiser’s would fix that issue
    • It's the quick deterioration of the phones ear cups and plastic L/R headphone components falling off (more than they obviously should).
    • but I feel as though it's an accurate reproduction sound yet not as good as for example a beyerdynamic custom one pro which is twice the
    • I haven't tested against my Yeti mic to see, but I presume this will minimise any leakage outwards, just as well as it isolates you from sounds coming inwards
    • I found them extremely uncomfortable and had to return for that reason...even as great as they sounded just could not get past the pressure they put on my head and ears..and as a point of reference I have a pretty normal head...or at least I think I do
    • To make things worse the earpads squeak as you move your head around
    • I have tested them on master material and raw, comparing as I said to the other headphones as well as compared them with ADAM A7X monitors and Dynaudio BM6a monitors
