To my reasonably well-trained ears, I think these are an excellent value

They are 100% more comfortable than my Sony's my ears don't sweat and the valor ear pads are great especially since I wear glasses

Sure, it's an open back design, but that doesn't mean your ears won't get hot after extended use

In an AC room (74F), my ears may get hot after a while

They also keep my ears cooler than wireless headphones, which in my experience tend to feel hot after a while
