Sennheiser HD 599 SE Around Ear Open Back Headphone

    • The build quality is acceptable for this price and the sound quality is a noticeable improvement over 555's.
    • Now, I'm not a fan of Bose, I think Sennheiser sounds better and their price is better, but by contrast with Bose, I was able to buy replacement ear cushions for my 2008 Bose On-Ear headphones, 7 years later in 2015, even after the headphones were discontinued, meanwhile I can't even buy replacement ear pads from Sennheiser for models they still are selling, like the HD599

    • Well worth the price.
    • The next step up would probably be the Focal Elegia at 900$ which is a hefty price increase for a nominal improvement in sound when using reasonably priced audio sources streaming Spotify at highness quality
    • good price and good quality
    • Worth the price.
    • In the end I'm really happy with my decision and awesome black friday price
    • Also note that I am running these on a stock sound card or portable device with a low priced portable amp and no DAC, but running only FLAC files.)

    • They're fantastic sounds for a fantastic price
    • These r awesome !
    • This is a minor issue b/c the included 3.mm cable isn't too long to be tucked away and is thin and light to begin with.
