The sound is absolutely crystal clear, no more static from cheap IR products I had wasted my money over the years.

While I can say that the product sounds good when plugged in with the optical cable to my on-board motherboard sound card, the sound quality is completely lost when using the analog cable, and a predominant hiss and static noise is clearly audible
