Sennheiser RS 175 RF Wireless Headphone System

    • The range is great, I can walk over to the kitchen and grab a snack without losing the signal.
    • I primarily listen to my stereo receiver or streaming from the computer and can walk 100ft+ from the transmitters before losing the signal.
    • When change TV audio optical output to external audio system (instead of TV speakers), it failed to work (can't decode digital signals)...
    • The signal is very strong; I can walk anywhere in my house and still hear what's going on on my computer/TV.
    • If you turn too many corners you can lose the signal
    • Sennheiser's owner's manual say if you have incompatible signal to set the digital audio output of your device/audio source to "PCM", with a sampling rate of max
    • If I step outside to untangle the dog, I do lose the signal, but that's not a big deal
    • The sound quality is amazing and the signal is strong throughout their 3 level house
    • Good signal range (I got up to about 25 feet)
    • Also, I can get up, get a snack or let the dog out without losing the signal.
    • I wouldn't have purchased this model if I realized that because l use a Nighthawk gaming router and it's got a nice strong signal
    • Range is excellent, allows me to walk around house without losing the signal.
    • A quick check of the range shows I can go anywhere in my average size home without losing the signal
    • and I don't loose the signal
    • The wireless signal is very easily interfered with and determining the source of the interference is an exercise in futility
    • There is absolutely no static, distortion, or weak signal with these.
    • and the signal is strong
    • I only gave 3 stars because these are not as strong as they advertise and after 30 to 40 minutes the signal gets interrupted and gets worst the longer you have them on
    • Wireless:When sitting at my desk near the transmitter the signal is clear
    • The down side is either you get a good static free signal or nothing, as the unit goes in and out of range suddenly and without any clicks or hiss.
    • However, the signal from the base (or the reception of the headset) is not very strong--that is, if you're 20 feet away and step behind a wall, the signal deteriorates

    • The main problem with these headphones is that if you have it near a router or anything that might disrupt the signal, whatever you are listening to will cut off regularly
    • The wireless signal was a little problematic with my 5GHz WiFi signal
    • Powerful, clear signal throughout the house.
    • I will let the headphones finish charging and see if anything improves (which i hope), if nothing improves i will be returning these on Tuesday at the latest and will be getting the RF 185
    • Fantastic!I've been using Sennheiser wireless headphones for about ten years
    • The sound quality of these headphones are crisp, clear and loud or quiet as you need them to be
    • I can be on the other side of the house and it will still work as long as it is not going through metal like my fireplace
    • He can now hear sounds off in the background of the film which he loves as he can pick up on more of the audio than listening via TV speakers.
    • Works as I had hoped.
    • I believe the item was returned because the original purchaser got frustrated as to set up since some fiddling with tv sound source is needed and on the Samsung the correct setting is in a level two menu in the advanced sound settings.
    • Unfortunately l could not get it to work through no fault of the unit, my Panasonic tv would not allow me to make the necessary audio output change.
