I would highly recommend these wireless headphones.

Only problem I have is that when it loses its signal the headphone make a nose.

I used my previous headphones for years with good audio performance and a durable design for years until they finally broke.

They need a small amplifier since my TV does not have a proper headphone jack with volume control

The headphones are very clear and the dialogue is very easy to hear now.

Further, when the TV stops producing sound for a short while, the transmitter turns itself off, causing the headphone to play really loud static.

If the audio source is quiet for more than a minute or two, the base station will stop sending data, they headphones will produce a LOUD white noise/hissing sound.

When that happens the headphones pick up loud white noise, but you can easily turn that down or turn the headset off.
