    Sharp LC-50UB30U 50-Inch 4K Ultra HD 60Hz Smart LED TV (2015 Model)

    • the video settings are independent for EVERY input, meaning whatever adjustments you make to the User or Movie or any of the other preset profiles ONLY apply to the input you are on, this would be nothing more then an annoyance if it weren't for the fact that when in smart apps, like Netflix or Youtube you CAN'T customize the video settings, you are stuck with the 5-6 presets, which pretty much ALL include the motion smoothing crap.2
    • The app for this "smart" tv is horrible
    • The apps on it truly suck and getting to them requires a LOT of fumbling around with the teeny remote trying to find the menu for them
    • Now for the TV as mentioned the Smart apps are slow, the remote is cheap and viewing angle is pretty limited but for our needs of basically sitting within a reasonable distance and pretty much directly in front of the tv, this Ultra 4K is as good as its Sony and Samsung counterparts
    • The youtube app work flawless, the other apps seemto work ok for now
    • app I have seen on a smart tv/ tv device in a while it blows the youtube app on my fire stick away, you can watch a video and on the bottom quarter of the screen look through that youtubers other videos while the video plays on the top ¾ of the screen
    • the included apps are pretty basic, the smart central is fast to respond (MUCH faster then the Samsung in fact) but fairly useless due to limited apps available and looks like it and the rest of the menus belong in the late 90's.3
    • The only apps that I really use are Netflix and YouTube, and I prefer to use Roku for those.
    • The smart central apps are all intergrated nicely, and run well

    • , the app itself can do it, sharp just didn't build in a way to change the video setting in the app

    • There are only a few worthy apps with 4K capability: Youtube, Netflix and Vudu
    • I added a Roku premier+ to overcome the lack of smart tv apps and the really lousy remote
    • My biggest problem is that the "smart" features are anything but, you get the netflix app and that's about it for usable apps
    • The youtube app is really fast, it surprised me, it is the best
    • The bad....out of the box, certain apps failed to work (get a "coming soon" box, though the apps have been out for years?)...that have me quite the headache the first night
    • Any movement distorts the image as you can see it refresh before your eyes
