After multiple additional calls back to Sharp and a great deal of confusion about how the issue could be occurring, they finally agreed to send another replacement

When it works this TV is beautiful, and I've remedied the lack of apps with a Sony blu-ray player that has Amazon Instant Video and a bunch of other apps, so that is not such a big deal

I found this tv on an absolutely wicked deal and snapped it up, but only getting a year and a half out of it
