    Sharp LC-50UB30U 50-Inch 4K Ultra HD 60Hz Smart LED TV (2015 Model)

    • the tv really does look good, unfortunately you have to use it in the game mode to prevent too much input lag and the game mode isn’t the prettiest of modes, it is darker and a bit more washed out
    • We found out the hard way (calling Amazon, then calling Sharp) that Sharp does NOT have any agreement with Amazon Instant Video and that services is NOT built in to the apps on this TV - or any other Sharp TV, either
    • The tv says it upscales content to 4k, I honestly don’t see it, 720p look horrid on this tv for some reason and 1080p looks just as good as it always does, but neither of them look anywhere near 4k

    • To their credit, Sharp does allow you to upgrade the firmware from a USB key, because neither the wireless, nor the ethernet would connect to my network
    • Pictures great, sounds good, as others have stated the remote is woefully inadequate and the firmware is sub-par and sharp does not have amazon play.
