    Sharp LC-50UB30U 50-Inch 4K Ultra HD 60Hz Smart LED TV (2015 Model)

    • I recently bought a sharp remote from a different model TV because the remote became so annoying to use daily
    • Fortunately, most people would use an external cable box or a streaming media device that comes with its own remote so you wont even have to keep this awful remote around.
    • If the remote (I use it just for turning the set on and off and the sound up and down when the 5.1 is off) is an issue for you then you'll need to spend 2-3 hundred dollars more of your money for another brand
    • issue)The remote is PURE GARBAGE
    • The buttons don't respond, make an awful clicking noise with every touch, and it feels like I'm holding a remote to one of those $10 portable DVD players....not an almost $1000 tv.
    • And, you should be so ashamed that you decide to put a recall on this GARBAGE and provide everyone a PROPER remote TO operate this tv
    • The remote on the Sharp is a JOKE.
    • Very Poor Remote...takes a very long time to go between channels
    • Sent it back due to poor remote had it for two weeks
    • Other reviews criticized the remote; while small it does the job without being a big "appliance".
    • The remote that comes with this unit is the worse remote I've ever owned
    • So I simply turn on the TV and select content using the roku remote without having to use the really bad Sharp remote
    • Fantastic TV, but the remote control that comes with this TV is the worst remote I've ever used
    • So I simply turn on the TV and select content using the roku remote without having to use the really bad Sharp remote
    • Certainly they aren't as good as my sound bar, but they are far better than any other TV I have purchased in recent memory, and I'd have no issue using them for regular TV watching if need be (but still prefer my sound bar). The TV itself comes with a remote and an "IR-Blaster" with USB extension cable, useful if you have other equipment in a cabinet and you want t extend the reach of your other remote controls
    • the remote, what a piece of cheap crap, but frankly my opinion is very skewed after being spoiled to death by the Samsung smart remote that worked as both a "laser pointer" on the
    • I recommend purchasing the GB173WJSA remote as it is compatible and a much better Sharp remote, or grab a universal one
    • Others have mentioned this JOKE of a remote with the Sharp, and it is, by far, the worst remote I have ever used
    • I ordered a sharp remote for one of the higher end lines which I believe (hope) will be compatible
    • The other big negative is the terrible remote.
    • Terrible remote though.
    • Something that shocked me though is the remote for the tv actually controls my Amazon fire stick, I didn’t set it up to do it or anything, I was just browsing videos on the fire stick and didn’t even realize I was using the wrong remote until my girlfriend pointed it out to me, I tried it and the same thing happened with my nexus
    • I added a Roku premier+ to overcome the lack of smart tv apps and the really lousy remote
    • but the user interface through THE ABSOLUTE WORST REMOTE
    • The web browser is very unfriendly because you're expected to use a flimsy remote that doesn't have a keyboard or number pad...
    • So you'll get more quality time with that GOD FORSAKEN REMOTE manually turning on the tv every time the screen saver kicks in.
    • I think Sharp should do a recall on the remotes and send everyone a good remote
    • n’t work very
