We could not be more impressed with the picture and the sound is great too

My only downside is the sound, but who doesn't have a sound bar or sound system for their TVs nowadays anyway

Overall, it works well, the sound is fine for a TV (if you want loud sound by a sound bar), and the TV has all the functions I would expect except a lack of Picture in Picture.

one additional comment, the SOUND is pretty weak, the sound settings has 3 settings, OFF, Movie and NEWS, if you turn it OFF the sound is horrible, I leave it on MOVIE at all times, but even then I have to keep the volume between 30-45 on this TV where my last 3 tvs where always at 15-20 for normal levels, so if you like things loud like my brother I would suggest investing in a sound bar.

Certainly they aren't as good as my sound bar, but they are far better than any other TV I have purchased in recent memory, and I'd have no issue using them for regular TV watching if need be (but still prefer my sound bar).The TV itself comes with a remote and an "IR-Blaster" with USB extension cable, useful if you have other equipment in a cabinet and you want t extend the reach of your other remote controls

(Make sure though you using high speed internet because it will not stream Netflix unless it can grab a consistent 25 mb/s or more.)

Summary:if all the lack of features weren’t enough of a turn off for you, Sharp rubs salt in the wound, I went instore to test out some of the more expensive $3000+ sharp tv’s and they ALL have every one of the features missing from this tv functional and working on them, which means they either intentionally cut them from this model or they are just in no rush to get updates
