It fits in ur pocket unlike bulky cd players

The MD format is versatile, user friendly, inexpensive, and sounds just as great as a CD (except to those with golden ears)

And it doesn't skip nearly as easy as a CD player

One of my favorite features of this minidisc player is the fact that I can burn my own cd's onto minidiscs!

But it seems like all things, $$$ is a big factor, as CDs are much cheaper.

The sound quality is outstanding, and the supplied cables were perfect for me, although I did use a miniplug to miniplug cable that I already had to dub from my portable CD player
