I highly recommend this receiver to anyone who wants a good unit

It's been a great receiver but suddenly stopped working.

Great receiver especially at this price!!I bought it for the phono inputs to use with my Technics SLQL linear tracking turntable

(My receiver died after watching the Dougie/lightsocket episodes).

A lot of cheaper receivers cause low-end bleed off as you lower the volume, but this one maintains the mix better than any system I have used before

great!.The speakers that I'm using are one pair of 8 omhs Audinac 721, this receiver drives its very well

The Shewood RX 4508 Receiver is AMAZING

Power is adequate to drive large speakers, but it sounds a little strained compared to more expensive receivers and amps with more real power

The sound quality isn't the best but damn good for the price plus there weren't any good high end amp/receivers with Bluetooth that I could find at the time

If all you are looking for is a decent receiver that will play your system, this is a good choice.

Great receiver.

When reviewing the cost of finding an acceptable box, pay the shipping, and wait for uncertain result and uncertain future reliability, I ultimately opted to cut my losses and replace with a different Bluetooth capable receiver (I went with Yamaha) that hopefully will have easier service access if there is a problem.

Receiver defective, no power.

The receiver barely runs warm in a closed cabinet at regular listening/entertaining volume 24/7.It's important I point out Sherwood is not a cheap brand like people think

I really like this receiver.

Swapped it out with my dead 30 year old receiver and allows us to connect via smartphones to our existing speaker system

This is a great receiver...user friendly good tone and remote control lots of options for control

I’m wondering if some of the errant glitch/electrical sounds I heard during the episodes were actually my receiver’s death rattle or David Lynch’s sound design.

Nevertheless, this receiver does reasonably well and certainly much better than the old FM radio I had in the garage.
