(Onkyo A-9050)I'm not an audiophile, mostly because of some of the insane prices real high end gear requires
This one has Bluetooth and is priced at quite a reasonable price for what I wanted which were the two things that I was looking for
Not a fancy receiver, but the price is right, and the performance is just fine for my application.
Price was good, and radio reception is good once the antennas are placed in optimum positions.
This was a great price and a great product for us, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking at it and only gave it 4 stars because of the AM radio issue we have, which may just be from where we live.
It's a good value for money if it has the functions and connections that you need
Great value and clean, simple look with loads of power to drive any speaker.
So, overall a good value, but shame on Sherwood for not having better quality control, and shame on me for not popping in headphones right away.
😡I peeked inside through the grate: the yellow power transformer looks blown as it has smoke stains.
But the unit is as bulky and heavy as similar products made 20 years ago which is a bit surprising and disappointing as if modern technology failed to catch up with the design of receiver/amplifiers.
The bluetooth function works great with no issues connecting
works great bluetooth is a must for playing all my music
However, the Bluetooth (which is the reason I bought it) has very short range (20 feet max for me), and since it does not have an external Bluetooth antenna I cannot improve on the range
The bluetooth works fine, and the overall performance of this receiver is decent for the price.
Stored in upstairs closet, Bluetooth works great all the way down to patio area.
I have had the non-bluetooth version of this receiver for over a decade (RX4105) and although my first one failed under warranty, the replacement has been working perfect for 11 years in my unheated garage where it goes through extreme temperatures of Chicago summers and Winters

The remote is working good from the farthest part of room as well
The bluetooth function works great with no issues connecting
Just got it plugged it in hooked it up (took fifteen minutes tops) works and sounds better than my 300 pioneer that just caught fire last week randomly.
stereo amps typically go bad after 5 years or so by losing power in one of the stereo channels..this one went bad as soon as warranty expiration..maybe your experience will be different..not recommended..if you buy it "good luck"
The power to both channels was awesome and the sound it great
The Sherwood on the other hand brings nice power and awesome sound
Power is adequate to drive large speakers, but it sounds a little strained compared to more expensive receivers and amps with more real power
Tone Direct feature is pretty cool if you want to hear LPs or CDs the way they were mixed
Bluetooth has been around for a while and it seems like that should be a standard feature in any home stereo now a days
The Bluetooth is a tiny weak in therms of "hook up," it has very tiny amounts of disconnections that i've come across with, no matter how close the Bluetooth device (my phone) is, but I've walked down stairs with my phone in my pocket and it didn't miss a

I highly recommend this receiver to anyone who wants a good unit
2nd unit worked until today no audio, dead in the water

Overall very happy, sometimes unit seems to have a problem connecting to iphone, but overall very pleased.

Great (easy) pairing, great range, and most importantly, great sound.
The mid-range is extraordinary - and while the base is crisp and loud
However, the Bluetooth (which is the reason I bought it) has very short range (20 feet max for me), and since it does not have an external Bluetooth antenna I cannot improve on the range
The difference between this equipment and the AT 510 is that the AT 510 produced a "warmer" sound than the Sheerwood, but for the price sounds really good!.Great product, great value!
I hope they can back a problematic product with a responsible customer service, looks not so clear so far
The product failed two weeks after the return window closed
Seems Like a great product so far Bluetooth music connection is awesome
have made three calls to Sherwood, they have yet to return one, today is last call to recorder, reject product
IF you have real good speakers, and ease of operation and design are the highlites of this excellent buy

What's out there now for someone like me, wants to hear the sound (driving good speakers) and have inputs, and radio is nice too
you want a no frills powerhouse unit, get some high quality speakers good speaker wire and sit back and enjoy
Though sound comes out, it does not disable the speakers
