Reviews around money (4.51 of 5)

  • Dont waste your money - buy YAMAHA youll be much happier with it ...
  • It was very static-y but worked fine
  • Do not, I repeat, do not waste your money on this junky receiver.
  • Did not know until i read the manual o well probably to late now?

Reviews around bluetooth (4.21 of 5)

  • 2 problems with this product:1: if you plug in a sub to the sub out (such as a 10 inch sony 50w) which has its own independent power supply (of course), when turning off the system, the amplifier sends a loud thumping like noise before it turns all the way off.2: When i had bookshelf speakers in the hi level out (''A+B"), without any music there is an audible hiss that is fairly loud compared to another amp i had previously
  • It is the only receiver I can find with great price and with all the inputs I wanted, like USB, FM , AM, Bluetooth, Aux and mic
  • The Bluetooth (primary buying reason) works great and no-one has complained about not being able to hear.
  • The bluetooth is very weak and cuts out inside of an empty room
  • Bluetooth great, AM-FM Tuner outstanding, Bass and Treble controls perfect

Reviews around feature (4.21 of 5)

  • This unit had some great feature, but since it doesn't work, it is hard to say anything good about them other than that
  • Nice receiver, easy install, sounds great, nice features but the main remote control has no power off button so you have to manually do it.
  • Another great feature that I was pleasantly pleased with is that no one can take over the bluetooth signal of your phone is connected
  • This product had all the features I was looking for in my outdoor bar but the quality has fallen short
  • I was going to purchase the Pyle PDA6BU compact amp as it did receive favorable reviews and has some great features.

Reviews around receiver (4.16 of 5)

  • The receiver was showing error when trying to set it up.
  • The receiver came in its own factory box torn and ripped apart
  • Awesome receiver, everything I was looking for in my shop
  • The receiver works great, but the remote doesnt work at all.
  • Do not, I repeat, do not waste your money on this junky receiver.

Reviews around sound (4.13 of 5)

  • Good combination of ability to use mike over music, great sound and looks.
  • However if you want an inexpensive unit with good sound this is it.
  • It is also true about the static sound when the music is on low, but it is when it is really low, and what is the point to have it really low unless you just want background noise?
  • You give everyone a chance to experience good sound at great prices.
  • Sound is excellent, easy to use, easy to setup, looks great on my shelf

Reviews around speaker (4.07 of 5)

  • My friend is helping my plan a better solution to go with my pretty decent speakers I now have
  • Giant piece of s***!Thinking I've been SCREWED!
  • Also when it did work for the short time I thought it would push even my smaller speakers a bit harder.
  • I was then able to buy decent speakers to later upgrade the amp
  • Paired it with Dual LU43PB outdoor speakers good sound.

Reviews around work (4.03 of 5)

  • only problem is the entire left outputs often just stop working, and this annoys
  • I use the MP3 plug a lot and has been working great with no failures
  • Ive had my receiver for a few weeks now its been working great
  • This product works just fine for the price, however it is bulky, heavy, and retro looking
  • It sounds good, works great, and easily powered the four speakers (2 sets of 2 each) that I installed

Reviews around unit (3.69 of 5)

  • I liked the unit sound and price, i wanted it for use in my garage and work area
  • I returned the first one delivered to me for a replacement in hopes that it was just a defective unit, same problem with the second unit
  • This unit was cost effective and had the features I wanted.
  • The only complain I have is like others, the unit will not charge an iPhone or iPod on the dock when the unit is turned off
  • Unit had scratch on plastic face plate and volumne control had been marked with a "Sharpie"' as though to remember setting

Reviews around quality (3.39 of 5)

  • The sound quality could be better, but the quality / price ratio is excellent.
  • We bought this to connect the inbuilt speakers in our house..awesome sound quality
  • Sound quality was terrible and the controls produced notable audio noise.
  • Sound quality is very good, but stopped working after a few days.
  • We decided to go with a little more expensive Pioneer for better quality and sound.

Reviews around system (3.22 of 5)

  • Remote was broke, otherwise we are enjoying the system happy to have my speakers pumping!!!
  • Great System, perfect for my needs except there is no ON?OFF button on the remote
  • The system seems to work ok except for the fact that the USB port won't connect to an I Phone
  • This system is awesome for the price and it rocks my studio

Reviews around volume (2.32 of 5)

  • and i pod will not work no amp function( NO VOLUME) to play from old ipodswill not play ipod from usb
  • Lots of crackling when changing volume and just not worth the low performance.
  • remote doesnt work that well u have to be lined up center or really close for it to work
  • The volume dial didn't work - there would be no sound from the input source even at what should have been an audible volume level, then after several minutes they would suddenly turn on (sometimes, though other times they wouldn't turn on at all), but then the volume dial wouldn't control the volume
  • Did not know until i read the manual o well probably to late now?

Reviews around button (2.08 of 5)

  • it would be equivalent to turning the "loud" button on and off on older units that had that feature
  • Remote control will not work with ipod, must use buttons on the unit to manually change songs
  • Looks nice, no 1-6 preset buttons on this unit either for the radio.

Reviews around fan (1.95 of 5)

  • The fan is not as loud as I expected but is a necessary evil
  • The receiver does have a built-in cooling fan, which kicked in when I first turned the unit on
  • The fan is dynamic and spins faster when you increase the load on it
  • The fan makes a loud noise and I tried to hook up my sub to
  • Loud fan noise, no ON/Off button on remote... other than that, OK for the price

Reviews around equalizer (1.87 of 5)

  • remote doesnt work that well u have to be lined up center or really close for it to work
  • Wonderful l will recommend this to my friends
  • It does have some cheesy (and useless) fake equalizer graphics going on
  • My biggest complaint about this receiver is the utterly useless, idiotic “equalizer display”
  • After a while the remote not having a power button got annoying, as did the fake visual equalizer (it just reacts to volume at preset intervals and even then didn't even really work), then I moved it and added some rear 4 inch Kenwoods also at 4 ohms

Reviews around review (1.54 of 5)

  • I was worried about this product after reading bad review after bad review but i ordered it anyway fearing the worse
  • I'm not sure why all the bad reviews, but for the price this can't be beat
  • Really was hesitant to buy due to so many bad reviews but did it anyway and was really pleased with this purchase
  • I was going to purchase the Pyle PDA6BU compact amp as it did receive favorable reviews and has some great features.
  • I was really hoping the negative reviews were due to operator error, sadly they are not

Reviews around noise (1.50 of 5)

  • but I've had a few receivers in my life & never had one that even produced audible fan noise
  • For the $78 I paid for it, I was willing to live with them if the amp did not emit the loud humming/hissing noise
  • Loud fan noise, no ON/Off button on remote... other than that, OK for the price
  • Unfortunately I wound up returning it because it produced a loud humming noise when muted (or paused at the source device) after I played it at volumes of 35-45 for a few minutes (about 10-15).
  • The fan makes a loud noise and I tried to hook up my sub to

Reviews around manual (1.49 of 5)

  • Manual is completely devoid of instructions, but who reads those anyway
  • However, without any mention whatsoever in the instructions, how is a person to be certain?Other than a few pictures and labels, this manual is greatly lacking
  • I unfortunately have to add one more complaint: This product (as with many Chinese devices) has a woefully inadequate instruction manual
  • This limitation plus the very poor instruction manual limits my rating to only 3 stars
  • A manual this inadequate deserves a demotion of at least one star
