Don't expect to use this with Smart TV or probably any TV.
Pile does not work w/ Smart TV's, doesn't produce HDMI arc signal sounds !!

The Bluetooth feature is a plus, but I have the receiver in my basement and when I'm on the other side of the foundation, on the patio, there just isn't enough range to Bluetooth music

I returned it for another unit and the second unit had a problem with the HDMI out video right from the start.
The fan makes a bit of noise, but my unit is placed in a closet so it doesn't bother me.
Right out of the box, I found that the unit is oversized because the entire bottom of the unit was dedicated to mic mixing... useless for my intended purposes of music listening and movie use.
I can play it as a stereo audio receiver but not A/V. Spend a little more and get a decent unit that will exceed all your expectations rather than get a bare bones unit
But overall with the budget and what I get is a very well fit unit.
