Right out of the box, I found that the unit is oversized because the entire bottom of the unit was dedicated to mic mixing... useless for my intended purposes of music listening and movie use.

I think they should ship you a new unit with a return label to send the defective unit back

This unit is very good for the price with great options and controls.

I returned it for another unit and the second unit had a problem with the HDMI out video right from the start.

Unit works w/radio,... nothing else!

The fan makes a bit of noise, but my unit is placed in a closet so it doesn't bother me.

I can play it as a stereo audio receiver but not A/V. Spend a little more and get a decent unit that will exceed all your expectations rather than get a bare bones unit

But overall with the budget and what I get is a very well fit unit.

(Note: this was a "like new" unit) so it may have been from the first owners
