Not only does it easily power my amp thirsty speakers, it is capable of a level of loudness that I couldn't even attain without damaging my ears--- with no distortion
does work
It sounds great and does everything I want it to.

I'm using it with a Samsung UHD bdp, an LG OLED, and some decent home-theater speakers, and it's a killer setup for a small venue
While this does work, and once again setup was pretty easy, the lip sync is terrible
Easy setup and my speakers got setup automatically with the included microphoneRuns cooler than my Denon although has more powerIt supports dolby atmos, dolby vision, hdr10It has Bluetooth transmit and receive
Beyond my expectations...Great sound and easy setup ... ARC works like a charmYamaha app is also a great add to it
After adjusting the bass and treble down some I improved the range and tonal quality some
Only thing is the auto volume feature didn’t work as well as
Pros : very clean powerful sound , remote is very easy to use , great Bluetooth connectivity , solid and stable wi fi , everything works as it above the specs listed by Yamaha as of a few weeks

While a little more than I initially wanted to spend, it far exceeds expectations.

Replaced an RX-v2500 with this unit, and exceeded my expectations.

Good work, Yamaha.
The auto setup was crazy easy and the external microphone worked great setting up the sound dynamics (worked much better than on my older Yamaha receiver where I found it better to adjust each of the speakers manually/separately).

and I love the app on my phone that can turn it on and stream Pandora (or etc) without even turning on my TV.
There are 2 modes, party mode will play anything your receiver is playing on zone 2, which is great to listen to youtube on the backyard, OR you can isten to the tv on zone1 and zone2 can play network music like pandora or SiriusxmThe yamaha apps to control the receiver are top notch
You have to use the MusicCast app to use it with Alexa and the app is ridiculous
