the rest - Shubb is the best for correct string tension, placement in the fret area and resonance from the string while being played.
-
Low profile and good tension.
-
The adjustable tension is a great feature, and it’s super easy to use
-
My adjustable tension Planet Waves spring capo lasted a good couple of years, but now it's relegated to just my classical guitar because of tension loss
-
Smooth spring action and thumbscrew lets you dial in perfect tension
-
This capo is awesome because:- Presses straight down on the strings, giving each one equal pressure- Adjustable tension, so strings stay in tune (avoids over-squeezing)- High-quality construction; will last a lifetimeIt's absolutely the best
-
No constant adjusting, just an easy tension clip-on.
-
The adjustable tension is amazing
-
The adjustable tension is nice, in that one can set it to just enough tension to get a good sound w/o pulling the strings sharp (my Kyser quick-change capo was pulling all the strings noticeably sharp)4.
-
The tension is adjustable but honestly I have not noticed any noticeable change in sound quality over a Kaiser capo
-
Nice even tension across the fret.
-
The tension needs to be set properly before use (I made the mistake of setting the tension too weak on the capo, which made the high E not ring out correctly)5.
-
Although the capo is well built and works very well, there are others I like better like the Planet Waves NS and the G7 which both must be tightened each installation to the correct tension but are simple and easy to adjust
-
I love the adjustable tension which is so key to staying in tune.
-
the wheel seems like it will last a lot longer and gives a more secure connection and a more consistent tension
-
I will never again buy a non-adjustable tension capo, and I probably will never again buy a non-Shubb capo based on my experience so far with this
-
The adjustability helps apply the perfect tension and keeps the guitar in tune.
-
Adjustable tension.
-
adjustable tension allows me to fine tune my capo-ing
-
With this one you can adjust it exactly where it needs to be for the right tension
-
so it puts exactly enough but not too much tension on the strings, it stays there, and it's the most unobtrusive capo I've ever used.
-
I like the tension adjustable feature. very good for the price!
-
I especially like the adjustable tension
-
Works great every time with adjustable tension based on your guitar and tone needs
-
It's adjustable tension never throws you out of tune.
-
Still have a little trouble getting that low 'E' to ring no matter which capo I use.
-
The design of this capo required you to constantly fiddle with the tension in order to get it to fit correctly while never quite fretting the high E correctly
