    Shure SM7B Cardioid Dynamic Microphone

    • If you are using this microphone and can keep it still and make sure that you don't bump anything then go for the SM7B because the sound quality is better
    • Excellent voice quality
    • Fantastic build quality.
    • It sounds fine, it’s good quality
    • The quality in general is fantastic
    • The sound quality of this mic is amazing
    • The quality of the sound and sensitivity is amazing.
    • It sounds so good and so clear and the build quality is amazing as it always is with shure, and even though the build quality is great it is not so heavy that it weighs down my Mic arm like my blue yeti did, which was a concern and I am extremely happy it does not
    • Sound quality was good even without equalizing or compression
    • If u need the best quality, then u REALLY want this mic
    • The quality of vocal recordings that I've gotten with this mic paired with a good preamp are far better than what I was getting with my MXL condenser (even with a decent preamp), and I'd say it's perfect for someone (like me) who isn't exactly a novice but isn't an expert either.
    • Amazing quality dynamic mic
    • I can get right up on it and never pop a single 'P'.I needed this mic because I needed a tool that would provide a top-quality sound, would work easily every time, and get the job done quickly and well
    • Would expect better quality consistency.
    • Overall, I love the mic, it's sleek, nice, sturdy quality, and made from great materials
    • (a very good quality pair cost me about $100).Then it worked.
    • The Build quality is solid
    • This mic handled her vocals without issue, all the while providing a warm, rich sound quality.
    • The quality is worth the price
    • You need a lot of gain to bring it up to level, so you need a really good quality preamp to avoid bringing the noise floor up with it
    • The quality of sound is superb, the build quality is what you would expect, very strong, professional grade.
    • Highly recommend, audio quality is top-notch.
    • such good quality. needs A LOT of DB boost though, so get a good preamp with it
    • I should also mention that the audio quality is absolutely terrible.
    • Top that with top notch audio quality for spoken word, I can't really complain
    • Another $400 on other products and mixers are required for good sound capture quality
    • Great quality
    • Do you want excellent sound quality for your studio recordings
    • I run them through a Focusrite Scarlett interface and love the quality of vocal recordings they produce
    • Great sound quality but 100% needs some kind of lifter like the Cloudlifer.
    • The texture and weight of the microphone is very good quality
    • But overall the quality of this microphone is amazing
    • I’m not sure what the less than 5 star ratings are referring to (or what their set up is), but I produce for a podcast that is in the top 0.05%, and we have to do VERY little if anything extra to achieve excellent sound quality from these mics
    • Best sound quality and great value for the price.
    • I had another mic which was pretty good, but I like the look of this mic and the quality of it
    • So I tested out all microphones and ended up liking the PR40 the best because it picked up little vibrations with the PRSM shockmount and it rejected off-axis sounds while having SLIGHTLY worst sound quality
    • The build quality is superb
    • Shure SM-7B is exactly as advertised, great build & stellar sound quality
    • I knew it was gonna be a really nice mic since its a legendary microphone...really impressed by everything honestly...sounds good, build quality is awesome, looks super clean..5/5 for sure
    • Quality-Fantastic Sound-Built in Shock Mount-Easy to physically
    • I ended up buying the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 Second Generation to use with it, and everyone has been saying my mic quality is "freaking sexy" so, there's that.
    • and I just love the build quality!
    • Superb sound quality, and the list of positive attributes goes on and on and on
    • GREAT QUALITY!!!
    • The quality is insane
    • So I am a big fan of the SM57 Microphone as a vocal mic due to its ease of recording and good sound quality
    • it works great and has excellent quality.
    • might seem intimidating or hard to set up but its very very simple and you will never regret the quality of this microphone, All you need to get started (opinion) is the Microphone its self, Cloud lifter, 2 sets of XLR cables and a scarlet interface ( I choose the 2i2 version)
    • Love this mic and the sound quality it produces really is exceptional
    • The quality of the audio is literally no better than the old Blue Yeti I was using
    • This is a top notch quality product.
    • great sound quality, great build quality.
    • Sound quality is amazing!
    • The packaging was great, the quality is great although I made the mistake of buying it without a cloudlifter, overall it is very nice.
    • LOL excellent sound quality...
    • Sound quality is very good, background noise is minimal, control over the volume and mix (of PC audio and mic input) is controllable.
    • This product was easy to put together and has good sound quality for the price.
    • I use the SM7B for streaming and voiceovers and it has helped improve my quality immensely
    • It is worth it and it seems to be high enough quality that I will probably have it for the rest of my life.
    • But, in doing that, the quality becomes slightly distorted and doesn't even sound as good as the Yetti did (which has TONS of output volume)
    • High quality built material, High Quality Sound, Easy to Setup and Use
    • Upgraded my home office/sound equipment to do voice overs and improve sound quality for customer meetings and demonstrations, interviews, recordings, etc
    • Great studio quality mic with a great ability to make the sounds at a great quality without any cutting in an DC out
    • Good quality
    • The sound quality is miles better than the AT2035
    • Great quality mic for superior audio quality.
    • But a more detailed analysis reveals more characteristics and with better understanding you can put aside the hype and probably appreciate theSM7B for what it truly is : a fantastic Dynamic microphone with a SM58-like character that works for robust studio-recordings IF you have a high-quality high-gain preamp to use with it
    • The quality is amazing and the sound is incredibly clean
    • I've had the SM7B for a couple of weeks now and the microphone has excellent sound quality and great durability.
    • If you've done your homework you already know that this is a low-output mic, but you might not understand just how weak a signal can be until you plug an SM7B into your favorite high-quality preamp
    • A mic-is-a-mic, until you use one of these Shure SM7B...5 stars for absolute top-notch quality, it is worth the price, plus, it's a Dynamic Mic.
    • Best quality for money spent
    • One of the best features is it doesn’t pick up background noise and being a Voice Over/ Narrator that is a very important quality that is needed.
    • The sound quality is great, perfect for high fidelity audio recording, podcasts, getting smooth voices
    • Excellent quality but at a premium
    • This is a quality dynamic mic
    • I bought this mic about a month ago and my experience with it has been amazing! The mic is built very nicely and feels very solid, the sound quality is very nice, but the amount of background noise i was able to eliminate is why i love it, and also how professional it sounds, it's a must have for someone doing podcasts or streaming!!
    • With that out of the way, I went all out to get the supposed best quality from this gain hungry mic
    • Absolutely lovely product everything I could’ve wanted and more sound quality is superb it has a robust and durable
    • Trully amazing and great sound quality
    • Great build quality
    • Excellent quality and well worth the price.
    • I bought this mic to start podcasting/making youtube videos again and the quality is so amazing it literally is inspiring me to record all the time
    • It does exactly what it's supposed to do with great quality
    • The quality for the price is unmatched however
    • We’ve recorded shows in sound-protected rooms, noisy open conference rooms at conventions, and echoey meeting halls with folks that have zero mic discipline, and have always been able to dial in the sound to produce top-tier audio quality
    • I did an audio test of this microphone if you're interested in hearing how it sounds compared to the SM58: https://youtu.be/RAUjB0l6CnYThe audio quality of this mic is incredible
    • although I was able to get the mic loud enough, the quality didn't knock me
    • You will need a preamp, though, to get a clean recording (I recommend a Fethead as it connects directly onto the microphone, as opposed to a Cloudlifter where you need two cables)
    • like me using a desktop mic pre or small Mackie, etc, I highly recommend using a Cloudlifter and quality audio cables with this mic (as well as with the RE-20).
    • If you're serious about getting your vocals to sound great, and have the money to spend I would highly recommend this over a cheaper mic as it will save money on upgrading in the future.
    • Whether you pick the Shure or the EV we with experience know that both sound as good as or better than condensers costing many times as much money for spoken word.
    • It might not be the most bassy sounding mic, but this baby is as clear and present as you can come across
    • This mic, paired witha good pre amp sounds amazing for soft melodies as well as for yells and screams
    • I like this mic a
    • With thousands of dollars in my microphone drawer -- dynamics and condensers, classics and new -- I kick myself for not buying this mic sooner because this $350 bargain has now become my first choice for every vocal project.
