Shure SRH145 Portable Collapsible Closed-Back Headphones

    • It would probably go down well in, say, Japan, but I'm a typical American who likes a tad more bass and
    • The bass is nice and deep and you can also hear other things that you previously were unaware of in your music collection
    • The bass is a bit on the ‘tinny’ side meaning that sometimes the bass seems to fall flat while the other parts of the music keep going strong
    • Nice high end, good bass and great clarity
    • It's a great headphone for the price, with enough bass level if you plan to use it to listen to R&R, R&B, blues, jazz, funk and such styles
    • (not wretched excess bass like Beats headphones, just a little more), and to my ears, these headphones need more punch
    • These headphones produce a crisp, clear sound, with a nice bass, are lightweight, and very comfortable.
    • Again for the value, very good sound quality, especially the bass, good looking and very comfortable
    • Clear, good bass and can crank the volume.
    • They are comfortable and have a nice isolation, soft earpieces, and a good bass tone that suits my love of acoustic guitar/vocals as well as movies.
    • I would say the only thing is the bass and the mids needs a little improvement but that is all
    • The bass is nice and deep, and stands out, but isn't obnoxious or separate from the overall mix.
    • I find myself punching up the bass a bit
    • A closed design by its nature would have produced a more solid mid-range and bass.
    • Sound:Very good bass, yet I can still hear cymbals, etc
    • I tried some Beats EP, but the closed back and over exaggerated bass was a turn off
    • The only negative is really the lack of a good bass sound, but unless you are listing to high fidelity music with lots of bass, it is do-able, especially for the price point.‘Missing’ pieceI always use the independent volume control on my other headphones and thought I could live without that feature
    • Great bass
    • I prefer a semi or full open back design as I like more detail and do not like heavy or boomy bass
    • Clean, crisp, tight sound with nice warm bass
    • Despite the fact that Shure plasters the box with "DEEP RICH BASS," the sound profile is actually pretty flat, which I personally like
    • To test out the Shure SRH145 headphones, I decided to try out some music though because the packaging advertises in large letters 'RICH DEEP BASS'.
    • ( I have a huge head and these fit me great)-Wire isn't too long just 5ft long-Just enough bass isn't over powering
    • Great, clear sound - excellent bass
    • Bass was a MESS
    • It was not tinny and had a fair amount of bass, well balanced bass
    • Really disappointed as I don't have time to return and then again wait for a new one.
