On the positive side, they definitely do a great job of sealing out ambient noise, and for catching any background noise that might have made it into my recordings

I find them comfortable to wear for long periods, they do, by nature of their closed ear design, take away quite a bit of the ambient noise and they sound terrific for me, very well balanced.

It's easy on the head and ears, cuts out all the ambient noise (including the yeowling from a demanding cat).

Oh, I almost forgot that these headphones block out ambient noise very nicely

The sound is great and it kills ambient noise pretty well.

Listening to some of my favorite albums with these headphones (connected to my PC through an M-Audio fast-track pro USB 2.0), I swear, I can hear subtle layers and nuances that I have never heard before.
