Absolutely great professional reference monitor headphones

Well, aside from sounding great playing almost anything, these have proved to be excellent monitoring headphones

but if your on a budget and looking for a decent monitoring/mixing headphone at a reasonable price, you wont go wrong with the 840s

Therefore I am more interested in investing on good monitoring headphones

I got these because i needed accurate monitoring for electronic music production and was not currently able to afford a pair of good studio monitors and i must say this is the closest i have gotten to that sort of audio response

, they don't go out of their way to call attention to the sound in any way, which is what a good monitoring headphone should be

I received the headphones as a gift and plan on using them to listen to music as well as monitor headphone for music production

Allows me to hear the high end frequencies that evade my main monitors

This is possibly why they make good monitoring headphones
