I did about a month research to get a good quality sound at a good price
-
They are excellent headphones sound quality
-
The build quality is lacking, as these are in the $200, proceed range
-
The sound quality is decent
-
And the sound quality is HORRIBLE
-
I bought these headphones with the expectation that they would have great sound quality and durability, and seal out noise well
-
Great sound quality.
-
They are a little larger than some other headphones, but the sound quality is worth it
-
No regrets, and the sound quality is exceptional for the price.
-
AWESOME!!The audio quality is EXCELLENT!
-
That said, the build quality is excellent
-
I've had to return several products because of poor quality and, with the large numbers of defective Sony LCD televisions recently (malfunctioning pixels), I opted to spend more money on the SRH840s and not take another chance on Sony
-
Shure definitely lived up to its name and provided excellent audio quality
-
The sound quality on these headphones is great
-
and you are set, I suggest Zalman Microphone Zm-Mic1 High Sensitivity Headphone Microphone Retail, really incredible sound quality, i gave 4 out of 5 in comfort because although not a big deal, is does feel kinda
-
I am in no way a recording professional, but I do consider myself to have some pretty good ears, in terms of being able to differentiate between good and poor quality playback
-
The sound quality is great and they are very comfortable
-
I have tried a couple songs that were in 128 Kbps MP3s, the quality was not as good, due to compression and bad quality, but it still sounded better than with any other headphone I have tried
-
i've found that the sound quality is still the best i've heard but the durability isn't
-
The second complain is that when having a high quality set of phones like these, you can really start to hear the difference between low quality and high quality mp3s
-
IOW, they are pretty comfortable and the build quality is not bad--not as well made as a German Maestro 8.35/300, or even the similar Beyerdynamic headphones, and not as comfortable as the GMP160/400.
-
Very lackluster manufacturing quality.
-
Other things I love about the Shure's are the pads, theyre great quality, and can be replaced
-
They have excellent sound quality even without amping
-
If you are someone who appreciates the true sound quality, I recommend these headphones to 100%
-
Amazing sound quality
-

-
The main issue with it the build quality of the size extender for the headphones
-
great quality of sound and comfortable earpads
-
Sound quality is great, and I won't bore you with "describing" the sound - check out Head-Fi for that kind of stuff
-
You really have to experience them to hear the amazing sound quality.
-
The best for noise canceling (if you were getting on a plane once a week) are the new Bose QC 15's, but the Shure SRH840's definitely have better sound quality
-
I'm a student, but I figured I would spend good money on quality headphones, the headphones themselves have a great sound quality to them, but the material used to make them just doesn't do them justice, 6 months in and one of the hinges broke, I had to get
-
Although the sound quality might be great, they aren't really comfortable due to its weight.
-
Good bass quality, not too much but enough to make you numb
-
The sound quality is amazing, I can't believe how clear the snares sounds on the background on my rock music, the background sounds on my electronic, and the dropping bass on classical music
-
But for studio mixing and general non-live situations the quality is the best I have ever experienced
-
Because of the size and quality of these headphones they do benefit greatly from an amplifier of some kind
-
Secondly, sound quality is ambivalent and flat, with no exaggerated sparkle which is probably what you would want from a monitor
-
Nevertheless the sound quality is great
-
I would recommend these, because they are great sound quality
-
Great build quality throughout most of it, and some things not expected in this price range
-
Now that I have been hearing them for some time, the sound quality is amazing.
-
No regrets, and the sound quality is exceptional for the price.
-
They also have great quality without any sort of external boost required (can be powered off a phone, etc).
-
The build quality of the 840's seems solid, though I'm very careful with them given that they aren't the cheapest thing to replace
-
They look plasticky, are too big to use on the street, and the build quality is not perfect (the headband fabric has almost entirely peeled off)
-
It will make good quality recordings sound better, but also know that it’ll show the flaws of bad quality recordings
-
There's not a whole of products that have made me go "wow", but a high quality pair of headphones like these really change the way you listen to music.
-
the quality was simply incredible
-
Sound quality is just astonishing
-
I also find the build quality to be excellent
-
Try the same headphones with FLAC and you will love the quality
-
It will make good quality recordings sound better, but also know that it’ll show the flaws of bad quality recordings
-
Great quality
-
Superb quality
-
The y are very comfortable and can be worn for extended periods.
