Sid Meier's Civ lost something!

I just can't seem to get the Civ feel from this game like the classics all had, including

I loved Civ

I absolutely loved Civ 5 and I was really looking forward to Beyond Earth.

If you don't, buy Civ V instead - way more fun, cheaper.

Not a great CIV game compared to previous ones

Civ Beyond Earth is somewhat a disappointment compared to the previous CIV 5.

Once you adjust to thelandscape you it will feel very much like you are playing Civ V. Instead of barbarians there are aliens.

It looks pretty and functions, for the most part, the same as Civ V.

There are significantly less factions than Civ V and the benefits/drawbacks to playing each is less interesting than previously

Seems kind of like a re-skin of Civ V, although I do like some of the new features such as the tech tree "web", affinities, trade routes, and unit upgrades
