Well, I feel kind of silly writing a review for an item that already has over 200 reviews, and almost a straight five-star rating, but I have to say that this is one of the most impressive lenses I've used on the micro 4/3 format cameras

I have used, Zeiss, Leitz, Nikkor, Zuiko, and Schneider prime lenses, so I can appreciate quality optics from both my eye and experience.

I was unsure if it would work for the IR camera as many lenses have a hot spot in the center of the frame when used for IR

I really, really enjoy using this lens on my Sony Nex.

I'm still getting used to using a single focal length and framing by moving backwards and forwards instead of zooming, but its pretty fun

The hidden part of the update is a more robust use of materials and construction
