So many terabyte devices use a flimsy connector, making the device unreliable

The drive arrived on time, the first things noticed are: Unusual USB 3.0 connector and Rugged antishock armor

like how its doesnt use a proprietary connector.

All I was told was what I already know (the connector being loose), and that I needed to order a new enclosure for the drive (since the drive itself is removable.

The connectors are standard USB on the drive side (not mini, or the strange little USB3 connectors), so they have a solid fit.

The ONLY downside is the connector

Its not truely 5T hard drive its only 4.5 T but it does work for my XBox One

Nice looking external hard drive, several times smaller in size than my previous 2T hard drive from WD

Great rugged 1T unit for good price.
