The HDD itself is pretty responsive (although I had some real hiccups upon first using it, but that might've been my fault), and the rugged design means I don't have to worry as much as with other hard drives

I've had this external hard drive for over a year and it has NOT given me any issues

I previously broke an external hard drive when it slid of the kitchen table

The previous hard drives I used were both 4TB Seagates, which I loved, but they were a few years

It has proven to be well designed; the cord does not easily fall out of the drive, risking corrupted drive or data, and moderately durable; the drive did get lightly banged and is no worse for the wear.

I ordered both my fiancé and myself each a hard drive from your company

This is USELESS as a back up portable hard drive when you have to restart EVERY time you want to use it or try to carry your laptop with it attached

Now the drive is not even working at all, so I have to spend extra money trying to recover the data.

you do, never ever forget to format your new external hard drive or USB stick prior to loading data onto it unless you want to spend three days finding out how to use freeware data retrieval programmes.

After a week of use, I replaced my two desktop hard drives with this one
