Also the Hard Drive cables obstruct the airflow
-
3.0 & audo connectors have very nice cables, but the mount for the module that holds them is a very creaky flimsy PCB jutting awkwardly into the case. moving the usb 3.0 cable in particular puts a lot of strain on the connections.
-
not only did this requiring strange cable routing to work, it also put some undue strain on the known-to-be-fragile sata power connectors.
-
has to stick to specific PSU which affected the build budget.- poor cable management
-
Right angled cables are not your friend with this case.
-
I would also only recommend flat sata cables
-
The 2.5" mount is right under a fan mount and only about 2 inches from the power supply so getting decent cable placement for sata and power to the drive was a pain in the ass.
-
all this together.-here comes cable management... its a nightmare
-
Even after this the cabling was still a mess
-
My power supply is not modular, but had no problem storing my extra cables in the case
-
Great cable routing.
-
I will agree with another reviewer who said the USB 3.0 cable is too large/stiff and can fall out easily
-
I don't even want to imagine how the nonexistent cable management would be with a non modular PSU or with a box filled with hard drives
-
I didn't spend enough time contemplating the complaints other reviewers had about poor cable management until I started trying to pack things in, and now I totally appreciate their complaints
-
Plenty of room to run cables and Silverstone makes some very nice power cables for the SATA 3.5 array that really clean up the interior
-
I sincerely recommend that anyone looking at this case purchases a Modular Power supply to eliminate any unnecessary/unused cables that would fit inside
-
This case will support a beast of a card but it will also sacrifice a lot of room for cables, as well as, at least, one of the 3.5 drive spaces
