SilverStone Technology Home Theater Computer Case with Aluminum Front Panel for E-ATX/ATX/Micro-ATX Motherboards GD08B

    • Now as far as the noise factor, the fans of the unit aren't that loud for me, even in an open media center, but the fan on the GPU is noisier(my choice to have one).
    • The three included fans are probably great if you have three case fan header pins on your motherboard
    • There is also room for two more 120 mm fans as well as 2 80 mm fans
    • When moving out of my tower I had to purchase the stock fan and brackets for my CPU.I added a second fan as well for additional cooling
    • Fitting the radiator on the right side next to the disc drives won't be possible for most people, as the radiator (and accompanying fan) will clash with the edge of your motherboard.
    • Can fit a GPU up to 12.2".Integrated fan filters
    • The fans are quiet and move the air very efficiently so that the box stays cool enough.
    • For the price of this unit, I expected the fans to be inaudible from a 7+ feet away (but they're not)
    • The fan that it came with has a small hum but not annoying i added one more the case stay around 32. and cpu 39
    • Also, if you choose to have a standard size optical drive, the height of your CPU cooling fan will be limited.
    • Air Series AF120 Quiet Edition CO-9050002-WW 120mmI added one additional 120mm fan to push air into the case to compliment the 120mm fan that comes installed in the case
    • As others have stated the fan filters require you to completely remove the fans to clean them
    • I had a Noctua NH-L9a from a previous build, which obviously had zero clearance issues, but this case would provide ample space for serious cooling fans.
    • Quiet fan
    • Comes with one decent 3 pin fan, but i swapped it out for3 x Cooler Master Blade Master 120 4 pin fans all blowing inwardshas only usb 3.0 on fronthas a power and reset button and two blue leds for power on and hdd activityFront panel dang near looks like brushed metal.
    • Not to worry, if you have that issue just get a fan Y splitter adapter for 5 bucks.
    • so I do get more fan noise than I'd like.
    • I was concerned with the triple 120mm cooling fans creating too much noise, but these fans are high quality and are inaudible inside of my entertainment center.
    • The fans are not silent, but they are fairly quiet and cannot be heard at all once there is music or a movie being played thru our sound system
    • Larger fans are nice but the disks are mounted under a plate that makes them harder to access.
    • Wire management is easy and the temps are perfectly fine albeit a bit higher than they would be in a proper tower case with proper fans.
    • Also, the fan it came with made a horribly loud noise, even after taking it out
    • I'm a great fan of Silverstone Cases
    • The included fans are very quiet.
    • NH-U9S Heatsink (fits well, can only use one fan) and clears BD-rom if you use this adapter
    • and I figured that when Silverstone says they have quiet cool fans, I bought 2 X Silverstone Tek 120 x120 x 25mm 1500 RPM Air Penetrator and Air Channeling Case Fan with Fluid Dynamic Bearing and Fan Blade Design, Blue/Black AP123 as well as 2 X SilverStone Suscol Ultra Quiet Fan with 7-Bladed
    • Functionality is wonderful minus the fan bays on the optical drive side of the case, it seems you have to remove a lot of the case parts to replace them and or clean the fans
    • $25I tested the only working fan with all 3 motherboard connectors and it worked with all 3, unlike the 2 defective fans.
    • MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G video card and my Ryzen Wraith Prism heat sink fan with room to spare
    • Yes it works great, and the included fans are very quiet, but the price is a rip-off for what you get
    • The fan that it came with has a small hum but not annoying i added one more the case stay around 32. and cpu 39
    • Great product with plenty of included cooling fans.
    • - I use only 1 fan to cool my HTPC.
    • No previous case could withstand this torture and would require faster (i.e. louder) fans
    • Needs a 92mm tower cooling fan in order to coexist with an optical drive on Z97 motherboard.
    • I love the availability of ports/USBs, and the fans to keep it cool
    • It ships with too many fans installed, but it is a simple matter to strip it down to a single, quiet 120mm fan.
    • Set all fans to blow/push in to reduce dust.i5
    • The included fans seem quiet enough
    • The included fan is whisper quiet
    • Another annoyance is the fans, without a speed controller, you will hear them in a silent room
    • It comes with two super quiet fans and you can add two more
    • Without the fan control the fans will be somewhat loud like my other GD05 build which used a god-awful eVGA p55 board that I wish I never bought
    • Because they are are on the inside the fans become covered in dust, and to clean the dust filters you have to open the case and remove the fans AND remove the filter from each fan
    • The included fans are exceptionally quiet with the case put together and isn't really audible while watching tv
    • I wanted to use a fan-less CPU cooler and fan-less video card, but both were just a bit too tall to work.
    • Another reviewer said you'd have to remove the fans to clean the filters
    • Easy to build, fans are quiet and keep things cool, and it looks great.
    • Perhaps I just got one with a bad fan, but then that speaks poorly of the Silverstone quality assurance process.
    • I have had to order a different CPU cooler fan to replace it.
    • no less than 4 sata cables, a main power cable, a sata power cable, some fan cables, and the (very thick) front panel cables & (flimsy
    • Quiet Cramped, Modular 3 bay cages with their own adjustable fan controls
    • I set the 3 fans and the CPU fan (Coolermaster Gemini S524) to silent mode and the fan noise difference is dramatic
    • I'm not sure if it was due to a faulty fan or what
    • The fans are relatively loud at 12v (the voltage of the included 3-pin to molex adapter), but at 7v, they are a good volume
    • Worked great, everything fit well and the fans are quiet
    • Without the fan control the fans will be somewhat loud like my other GD05 build which used a god-awful eVGA p55 board that I wish I never bought
    • There are plenty of places to put cooling fans and each fan mounting location has a dust screen that easy to clean, saving the hardware from dust build up and excess heat
    • If you don't have enough fan headers on your motherboard, I'd suggest picking up some power adapters (if you don't already have them).
    • This case will support a beast of a card but it will also sacrifice a lot of room for cables, as well as, at least, one of the 3.5 drive spaces
