I will say the only connection that worked for us however was the Optical connection, which Is the BEST quality, but I had to get a special adapter for her older TV to get Optical connected on the back

For $125.00 +- it delivers a very poor sound quality and the so called bass switch doesn't help much as it still sounds like a cheep cheep radio... as far as hook up to sound sources and actual amplification it is quite adequate.
