This does repair minor scratches to fix skipping on discs with about a 95% success rate.

Works ok on light scratches but does not do well on deep scratches

This does work, and I followed the instructions to the letter.

Does okay on CD's with small scratches, does not work on deeper scratches.

Not only does it not work, it destroyed several of my discs in the process while following the instructions verbatim

This does clean up the surface of the disc off very minor surface scratches from normal use over the years that could cause skipping on a dvd

Morale of the story, this thing just does not work for todays disc, PS3 games, blue ray disc, etc

This is a machine that does not do anything except ruin the CDs even more than they are it does not work on xbox or ps CDs either please do not waist your only on this small handheld machine

Didn't have a drying cloth in package, CD does not spin well in device and is not removing scratches as advertised

It would read somewhat but still skips often and sometimes wouldn't even read it because skipdr does not remove scratches properly.

It seems the best it does is clean an obviously dirty disk, but did not repair any of the disks with actual scratches or skips, even after multiple uses.

: SkipDR does NOT remove ALL scratches on the disc first try

yes the wiiu does read all the other non-scratched disc well, very disappointed.

But under the right circumstances this thing does work.

This item not only does not work it ruins your dvds and cds

As long as these things have been on the market, one would expect them to have been improved sufficiently to actually do the simple job they claim but this does nothing to improve the condition of your disks

If this does not work, as they say, wash, rinse, repeat

The handle wont stay on for us as we use it so it takes a while to complete but does help to clean some scratches out.
